An explosive, award-winning novel in the black literary tradition, "The Spook Who Sat by the Door" is both a satire of the civil rights problems in the United States in the late 1960s and a serious attempt to focus on the issue of black militancy.
Dan Freeman, the "spook who sat by the door," is enlisted in the CIA's elitist espionage program. Upon mastering agency tactics, however, he drops out to train young Chicago blacks as "Freedom Fighters." As a story of one man's reaction to ruling-class hypocrisy, the book is autobiographical and personal. As a tale of a man's reaction to oppression, it is universal
The united-independent compensatory code/system/concept: A textbook/workbook for thought, speech, and/or action, for victims of *racism (white supremacy)
This is a book by a brilliant author, black in a system of racism/white supremacy, born into the worst racist decades of our country, so he profoundly figured out how to think/behave/feel logically to counter the racist code.
Mr. Fuller gives an antidote to and ways to cope with the victimhood of racism. Because non-whites are victims of white supremacy, he is saying, don't just accept victimhood. He maps out how to counter racism and white supremacy in all areas of activity.
When white people harm non-white people, the wrongdoers -- the white people -- must undo that harm. Justice requires that the wrongdoer make amends. In this book, without waiting for white people to end white supremacy/racism, Mr. Fuller outlines steps that victims of racism can take to decode the language and actions of white supremacy and not to further fall victim to it by their own response.
Mr. Fuller helps people see that following the logic, and following one's gut, about racism/white supremacy, go a long way in understanding why things happen.
The problems blacks face today are the result of the legacy of slavery, Jim Crow, global white supremacy, etc. No white person can call himself anti-racist unless he analyzes every part of his life and behavior to understand how he might be supporting the global system of white supremacy.
Mr. Fuller has analyzed what black people can do in every part of their lives and behaviors, to counter the system, to use codification to logically counter white supremacy's code.
His mind, his commitment, are honest, are brilliant, and every white person who is not putting in equal commitment should be ashamed that he/she is not working as hard as this author to end completely, white supremacy/racism in this global village.
If you haven't read this book, and you think you know African history - you're probably wrong. Chancellor Williams' work is an excellent, disturbing, must-read text for African Americans. It details the glories, and discusses the mistakes in black cultures that led to their present status. If you didn't know that African cultures have always been rather open, if you don't know how cultures that develop technology first end up being technologically backward, if you don't understand the real relationship among African, Arab, Semitic, and European cultures, you need to read this book.
Assata tells stories of her upbringing, narrated her confusion and feelings of being incredibly lost. Sparks of intelligence and pride would fly in her, but she was unsure of where to go with it. This book shows that with action and a hungry motivation for reform to come about either in society or in an individual, something will happen.
People have been reviewing this saying I wish there was more of this or more of that. But what must be understood is that this woman spent more than 10 years in jail, in solitary confinement, after that she fled to cuba for political asylum, it doesn't seem she could just sit down and write what she wanted when she wanted, especially details that could be used against those in the struggle.
In the beginning, there was the word, and the word contained the knowledge
Those who were called to share the word were called messengers and their mission was to spread the truth
Once these messengers accepted their Calling, each year of their lives became more productive and had more of an impact on the history of civililation.
As they shared more of their knowledge, God bestowed more upon them, until one day, the message they shared rose to a level of power that liberated its disciples and followers.
Each messenger is a specialist
Imhotep shared Medicine Hatshepsut shared liberation ,Jesus shared love, Muhammed shared truth, Frederick Douglass shared equality, Marcus Garvey shared economics, Martin luther King shared justice, Dick Gregorv shares health and Tony Browder shares knowlege
Once you have heard or read the Tony Browder message, you will recognize and embrace his mission.
from The Browder file is must reading for all African Americans
Essays in this book are not intellectual pontifications.
The thought provoking material represents a true labor of love from an African American father, brother, scholar and Hue-Man being who is unlocking the last remaining vestiges of enslavement - the need for libration of the melanin mind. Browder's messages reflect a keen ability to identify key issues and positive actions for change
Essays include discussions on topics such as life style practices that destroy the very essence of existence, subliminal media messages which corrupt mind, body and soul and how current fads and fashion trends affect African Americans. Browder's critical interpretations of systems of mis-education and mis-information bear witness to his wisdom and continued struggle for truth and righteousness.

From the time of our first parents, Satan has invented ways to turn man from the true worship of our creator, to worship created things. The Spirit of Satan, unlike the Spirit of the Creator, is always at war with the Gospel of Christ, So are Christ's followers at war - "not against flesh and blood, but with principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of the world, against spiritual wickedness in high places" Ephesians 6:12.
Just as there is a spirit in the world, so is a Spirit of Antichrist. I John 4:3. Just as Christ prepared the world before his first Advent by the symbols in the ceremonial law of the Jews, which pointed to Him, so is the Antichrist preparing the world through human agents with false doctrines. But who is the Antichrist? The Creator in his divine wisdom through prophecy and revelation, has given his servents understanding to know who this Antichrist was, is and is to come.

Jackson gained notoriety shortly before his death in 1970 when his younger brother unsuccessfully tried to free him at gunpoint when Jackson and two others were on trial for killing a guard. Written between 1964 and 1970 while serving time in Soledad Prison for robbery, the letters reveal the brutality and racism faced by prisoners and call for unity among African Americans. This edition contains a new foreword by Jackson's nephew Jonathan. Soledad Brother remains "recommended for most libraries"
In her autobiography A Taste of Power, A Black Woman's Story, Elaine Brown chronicles her life from her childhood through her rise to the head of the Black Panther Party. She describes her feelings of powerlessness and fear as a black girl growing up in a poor section of North Philadelphia and her desire to assimilate in order to become like her elementary school classmates - white and affluent. It is not until after college and several eye-opening relationships with white men that she becomes politicized and turns to the Black Panther Party. She feels that their struggle is her struggle, their problems are her problems - but she rapidly finds herself in conflict. In the midst of a Black Panther Party that has become obsessed with armed revolution, she fights for social programs such as food banks, schools, and medical assistance. During her rise to leadership she repeatedly has to confront the machismo of the Panther Party: "A woman in the Black Power movement was considered, at best, irrelevant ... If a black woman assumed a role of leadership, she was said to be eroding black manhood, to be hindering the progress of the black race. She was an enemy of black people." She journeys from belief to disagreement to violent opposition, and eventually flees in fear for her safety. A Taste of Power is an insightful, detailed, and fast-moving look into Elaine Brown's struggles against oppression and opposition, before and during the era of the Black Panther movement
