ATLANTA - The floor of the Georgia Dome rumbled as 32,000 men put down their hot dogs and super-sized drinks to rise from their seats and cheer while football star Deion Sanders did his famous end zone dance.
This time, the former NFL cornerback and receiver wasn't celebrating a touchdown, but a religious conversion that changed his life.
''I used to run up around this building high-stepping and doing my thing," Sanders said. It's funny how God teaches the foolish some things.''
Sanders joined televangelist Bishop T.D. Jakes at the 10th annual ManPower conference in Atlanta this weekend to help promote Jakes' evangelical message through the theme of sports and fitness.
